to a regional partnership.

Maintenance and engineering teams need the physical site, its equipment and the information behind it to make sense together. A digital twin is useful when it gives those teams a shared context for the work.

HyBird’s relationship with Holcim has grown from plant-level work into a Central European framework for connected spatial intelligence. The framework establishes a basis for further delivery; Siggenthal provides a documented example of the work already undertaken.

At Siggenthal, a specialist team captured a complex cement works to create a navigable digital twin. Holcim’s 2023 account describes a shared view of the plant and work to connect its existing production and maintenance information.

The approximately 200,000 m² site spans more than 100 main and auxiliary systems. That scale matters because of the work it supports: finding context, understanding equipment and preparing maintenance together.

The regional framework places connected spatial intelligence in the context of Holcim’s enterprise systems. The opportunity is continuity between the plant, its engineering information and SAP-supported work.

Our role combines the platform with the engineering and deployment work needed to make it useful in the customer’s operation.
